Our planned route

Starting March 2019, we will cycle our first leg to Istanbul. We then plan to go through Turkey to the Caucasus region (Georgia & Armenia), continuing on to Iran. Next up are ’the Stans’: Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
From Kyrgyzstan onwards our plan is still preliminary; the main route takes us through Xinjiang in China across the peaks of the Karakoram to Pakistan, into India (Ladkah & Spiti) and on to Nepal. Northeast India, Myanmar, China, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore will end our Eurasian adventure.
The final leg would be Southern Australia & New Zealand, but heck, let’s first make it out of our own little flat country!
